I would say by the end of the first season it had woven itself around the oblisk. Every year I cut it back so I can get that pretty fresh stuff.

HEALINGMAGIC HANDS & SYLVANA - When you find a scent application, please send it on to me.

NELLJEAN - Those pots came from mexico - we're only 15 or 20 minutes away. I wish they weren't in such turmoil right now because it keeps me from going over for lunch and a little shopping.

GRANNY FRAN - Even though i have a bench right by the herb beds, I rarely sit there. Thanks for the reminder that flowers are the only botanical that has a lovely aroma.Mary Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03888999648897092221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-48989242147969025732009-07-22T07:59:51.797-05:002009-07-22T07:59:51.797-05:00Yes, I would like a sniff too, please!Yes, I would like a sniff too, please!Sylvanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13186604429680496847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-41958152731655150022009-07-17T21:17:16.439-05:002009-07-17T21:17:16.439-05:00The sambac looks great on the obelisk inside of te...The sambac looks great on the obelisk inside of terracotta, Mary Beth. How long did it take to get to that size? Had one for over a year, and it's only 10" tall and just pops an occasional bloom. Am I doing something wrong or is it a time & maturity thing? Or maybe a terrible summer of 2009 thing!

Happy GBBD!

Annie at the Transplantable RoseAnnie in Austinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14662139490401110432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-36097425934413802392009-07-17T00:54:07.631-05:002009-07-17T00:54:07.631-05:00I have often wished I could transmit scent through...I have often wished I could transmit scent through my blog, especially when I sit near the herbs in the evening, I want to share the whole experience.Granny Franhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10537734608666526171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-58587557937012484132009-07-15T21:54:22.332-05:002009-07-15T21:54:22.332-05:00Can only imagine the fragrance of your jasmine, lo...Can only imagine the fragrance of your jasmine, love the container.

I went back to June, great display. I call your Mex. BOP 'Pride of Barbados' and mine is just starting to bloom well. That purple shrimp is great, I just grow the reddish brown and in winter, the white blooms in the GH, shy of bloom in the garden.Jean Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09000315400392984647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-59636356986638665632009-07-15T12:38:01.548-05:002009-07-15T12:38:01.548-05:00If only you could transmit the scent through your ...If only you could transmit the scent through your blog along with the picture!
