I have to admit that I shy away from vines - I tend to never get around training them properly.

AIYANA - My first visit to Phoenix I was amazed at all the plant material we share! I guess hot is hot whether its humid or dry. . .

Mother Nature Garden - That's what I love about reading garden blogs - I learn so much about other areas and from other gardeners!Mary Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03888999648897092221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-63177469386774260932009-09-22T07:17:21.121-05:002009-09-22T07:17:21.121-05:00Thanks for introducing me to this plant. Thanks for introducing me to this plant.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-2077632237664040642009-09-22T02:33:50.898-05:002009-09-22T02:33:50.898-05:00Your Bird of Paradise plants are so large and lush...Your Bird of Paradise plants are so large and lush! We have millions of them here in Arizona, but they are smaller and the foliage less green. Flowers are the same though, but sparser. Guess your extra rain makes all the difference.
AiyanaAiyanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04525758484165324330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-87580351653511493732009-09-19T22:06:44.388-05:002009-09-19T22:06:44.388-05:00I love the look of those orange blooms! Your description reminds me of trumpet vines, which have some of the same qualities of spreading themselves around, and having bright colored blooms. The blooms don't look the same, though.Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118703221138865382.post-49292681557135702162009-09-17T14:21:46.960-05:002009-09-17T14:21:46.960-05:00My Caesalpinia is all seed pods now, and I hope ne...My Caesalpinia is all seed pods now, and I hope next year to have a wall of Esperanza with BoP, or Pride of Barbados in front and Porterweeds stuck in every empty space. It's a marvelous time of year. Night Blooming Cereus is putting on buds again.

Thanks for a Bloom Day post with which I identify, except for Kapok.Nell Jean -- seedscattererhttp://www.seedscatterer.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
