I have the same butterfly weed but with white flowers. I always let them seed to have some for the wanderer butterfly. I used to have the one with the red flowers as well. It has sort of disapaered, then suddenly the white flowered one settled in my garden. Have you seen their huge green seed-balloons, quite pretty too.
